More than 200 faculty and scientists at Tufts focus at least some of their research to the theme of Healthy and Active Aging.
These Investigators at Tufts receive $40 million annually in grants and the university supports some 220 thousand square feet of facilities and more than 40 graduate students and 30 post-doctoral scholars to an age- specific focus.

On-going Research in Healthy Aging at Tufts
The research concentrates on various avenues of aging including: biology, biomedical engineering, dentistry, neuroscience, nutrition and physical activity, occupational therapy and veterinary science.
